The Pennsylvania Kayaking and Canoeing Group (PKCG) conducts outings year round on ditches, ponds, lakes, easy flowing streams, Class I-III creeks and rivers, estuaries, bays and the ocean. We invite all to paddle in the Mid-Atlantic States and beyond for free with like-minded paddlers.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AT ALL TIMES. No member of the group EXCEPT YOURSELF can be held responsible for any damages, accidents, or liabilities incurred while paddling with us.

Some trip guidelines:
  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to unload your boat and gear as car shuttle will start promptly at 9:00am (unless otherwise stated).
  • Wear appropriate clothing to match water temperature and weather conditions.
  • Bring extra clothes in a waterproof bag.
  • Bring a bag lunch, beverages and other personal items as required.
  • Waterways are dynamic so expect the unexpected. Long days, carries, pull-overs, duck-unders, dragging, wading, and swimming are all possibilities.
  • While we will strive to keep to the schedule, all trips are subject to change or cancellation based on unforeseen events.

Happy Paddling!
