Launch Permits in PA

Edit

Do I need one of those stickers on my boat?

In order to paddle any of the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission (PFBC) access areas or lakes, or any of the Pennsylvania State Park lakes, you must do one of the following:
  • Register your boat,
  • Have a Use Permit from the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission (PFBC), or
  • Have a Launch or Mooring Permit from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Bureau of State Parks.

The choice is yours, however if you do not have one of these three, fines are quite stiff!
